prayer

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

LET REALITY WIN OVER THE MASSES, MAD ESCAPISM !

I got a very sarcastic comment on my invention this morning.
I looked up the senders site to get some feedback on where I might have gone wrong in life, in inventing this training device.
Then I find the commenter is a 19 year old, who still watches cartoon videos at his age, so maybe it is just a clash of personalities because I was reading novels at 9 years.
Is it just me that is out of sync or what ??

Let the boxerballs adventure unfold I say !!

SUCCESS IS IN SIGHT!!

SUCCESS IS IN SIGHT!!

Thanks so much, Our attempt to introduce a new more exciting sports product to the public, has been a resounding success so far.
It has passed the crucial world intellectual property office report and it is filed extensively throughout the world. These are enormous steps in themselves for any product.

Using the donate button and otherwise, we have so far, managed to raise, nearly £6000.
If you told me I could raise that much, in the beginning- I would have been flabbergasted!

My online skills are not great, nor my business skills and experience, but the invention is probably one of the simplest and most important in recent times(I believe) and this about the invention not the inventor.
The love, the messages of support have been tremendous, the practical help and support has been so important,The anonymous work done by people who never wanted any thanks or recognition was mesmerising, People just wanted to help the independant inventor.
The names of all who have contributed are recorded and also written in my soul to be remembered when this massive project finally get off the ground.
LET THE BOXERBALLS ADVENTURE CONTINUE!!

how the single boxing ball was first invented

Today I am truly inspired because I found a article describing how the single boxing ball was first invented and guess what the inventor used ? you got it! just a football wrapped in canvas! read on
the following article excerpt

The "Punching Ball"
This is likely the predecessor to the well-known "speed bag" used today. It eventually evolved directly into the "double-end bag." Mike Donovan claimed credit for its invention. In his 1893 work "The Science of Boxing", Donovan describes the process as follows:
Sixteen years ago (1877) I brought it into use. I began by using an old-fashioned round rubber foot-ball with a canvas cover for arm exercise....when the idea came to me of swinging it from the ceiling.
Donovan was so impressed with his invention that he goes on to declare:
I regard the punching-ball as the most valuable mechanical assistant to a fighter in training. The most important thing is the punching-ball; practicing with it quickens the eyes, develops the hitting muscles, and makes a man a two-handed hitter.
Edwards seems to agree, calling it the "flying bag":
If you are in real earnest with the fun, you will have all you can do following it round and about.

Just one technical point about the boxerballs device is that it does not need a back board, if a 750grm approx sandbag or water bag is attached to the end of the suspension cord. This will keep the boxerballs arms from flying away and wrapping around something, like a tree branch for example

Let the multi-ball adventure continue
